A few days back, the Sultan of Sokoto demanded that the Federal Government of Nigeria grants amnesty to the Boko Haram set up in the Northern part of the country. Just this afternoon, the President, Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan said his government cannot grant amnesty to an invisible group. I join millions of Nigerians to congratulate the President on his BOLD move. He has dared those devilsh people, let them go ahead and do their worst. They were talking about been compensated for killing innocent Christians in their churches. They want to be compensated for destroying the little that was let of the economy of the North. They have taking the region backward to about 60 years behind the Southern part of the country. How can they ask to be compensatd
Nigeria is a very great country. I have had the opportunity to transverse the length and breadth of this country and my conclusion is that God has blessed this country and that Nigeria will become a very great nation. You ask me why I am coming to this conclusion? The indices are so glaring that you can even feel it. I have had the opportunity to travel by road in great countries like the United states, Mexico through Panama down to Brasil and in China. Here in Nigeria the roads are getting better, the hotels are also getting better and affordable you can get a decent air-conditioned room for #4,000.00 or say $25.00 a night. The topography i.e the scenery if you like nature is naturally very classic and beautiful. While in Makurdi I visited several tourist attraction but the one that real took my mind away was the scenery at the university of Agriculture in Makurdi. Benue State proud herself as the food basket of the nation and it is very reflective in the cost of foodstuff. For example I bought 36 tubers of yams big ones too for just #1,500.00, I bought a big basket of oranges and guava for #200.00 each. I intend to share all among my neighbours when /i get back. Although the Nigerian driver is always in a hurry, I have learnt to always be very carefull and drive defensively.

My response to Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, the governor of Edo State on theappointment of a special adviser from the Igbo stock...... Comrade has
done well for his political career and his political future. The question that
is begging for answer is that how many Edo Son or Daughter has even a common
shop in all the five states of the east? How many people of another tribe has any
of thsoe state appointed? Comrade is making a mockery of the mandate from Edo
people. More insults to the Edo people will follow. I dey cry for my people.
I arrived Makurdi, Benue State two days back. The city is very clean and the people are very friendly. One major problem here is that there is no electricity. The Electric company only supply light at night. The lack of electricity is really having a major effect on the economy of the State. Food is abundance here and very cheap. I will be going back to my beautiful city of Benin in a few days. The saying of the Elders is that you will not value what you have until you see how others live. I can not imaging when last NEPA or PHCN blatantly take light for 14 hours straight for say two weeks. Na wao. The drive from Benin City to Makurdi took 8.5 hours. The road is great but the Otukpo area in under repairs. Beautiful scenery.
