This is my response to pictures of one useless Nigeria musician who posted pictures of a video shoot where he debased women.
Wao I didn't know until now that Terry G lacks creativity. He is using pornography to sell records.  He does not have respect for women, I am very sure he got that traits from his Dad's relationship with his mother. As for those women that featured in the video, the economy might be very difficult please do not debase yourself and the dignity of women for peanuts for a desperate musician who know his music will not sell in the market. Terrible G shame on you and your family,http://www.informationng.com/2013/02/photos-terry-g-pushes-the-limits-in-video-shoot-for-pull-off.html

The good governance tour, a Federal government delegation travelling to all the states in the federation to inspect both state, local and federal projects. They arrived the South-South States a few days back and are set to visit Edo State. Many people are worried that the Edo State government may not be able to showcase  projects in other local government areas apart from Oredo which is the state capital. They are concerned that the largest in land area and an oil producing local government of Orhionmwion does not have any thing to show. They however congratulate the Comrade Governor for the construction of the new ring road at the formal five junction. We are all waiting for the good governance tour to commence.

The Local government elections are here again in Edo State and contestant are jogging for nominations. However, it looks like it is only the Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN that is making preparations while the other parties are yet to present their aspirants. PDP which is the party are the Federal Level and former rulers in Edo State are slow to present their aspirants. This lack of interest does not mean well for our democracy. The people are refusing to contest in the other parties. They believe that the seating state government will write the results of the local government elections  at the government house. They point to the election conducted by the PDP government under Lucky Igbinidion where PDP candidates will score 100,000 votes against 5 for the opposition ANPP. As you are all aware, most of ACN members are all former PDP members.

I announce with regrets the passing away of our (Class of 1972 -1976 @ Edo Boys High School/Adolo College) Geography master, Mr. P.S.O. Omoigui aka 10/10 ten over ten, Oviawe my brother God bless you. He died in December. The family placed an advert in the Vanguard of 29th January 2013 to announce his passing. According to the program of the burial events which is this weekend, there will be socials on Saturday at the NTA Arena. Mr Omoigui taught us the Geography of North America. We learned terms like the Appalachian mountains, the Tundra religion, the Archipelago, terms that most of my American friends had never heard. He taught us mapping reading. Mr P.S.O. Omoigui was a house master during our years and he lived in the school premises. He was one of the teachers that had a LADA car. I am gladden by the fact that his children that were running and playing with students then are all graduates. One of the benefits you get for being a teacher is that your kids will always turn out well. Adieu Sir, may His soul rest in perfect peace. Amen.

Finally, the Election Tribunal sitting in Benin City yesterday gave judgement in the governorship election between the ACN Comrade Governor Adams Oshiomhole and General Charles Airhiavbere of the PDP. Again the victory went to Comrade Adams. The General said he was going back to the drawing table. In an interview on ITV the Comrade Governor said that the General was his friend  and express shock about the whole saga. But the question remains, why will the Comrade call the General his friend a thief on nation Television debate? Why will he attempt to tarnish the hard earn reputation of the General? Anyway the lesson from this is that we should never become desperate over any thing. The Comrade Governor would have won the elections anyway with or without the insult. I join other Edo citizens to congratulate the Comrade Governor and wish him the best of luck.

Comrade Adams Oshiomhole the governor of Edo State yesterday won a judgement at the Supreme court of Nigeria. He had appealed against a judgement of an appeal court, a lower court in our judiciary,  in the election tribunal case against General Charles Airhiavbere. The issue in contention was that Comrade Adams did not have the required qualification for the office of the governor. But in filing his case, General Airhiavbe's lawyer knowingly refused or forgot to ask for the disqualification of Comrade Adams based on non qualification on the original writ. For that the court agreed with Comrade Adams lawyers that you cannot be granted what you did not ask for. I am not a lawyer but have seen lawyers filing papers in court. I know that they normally ask for as many as things as possible, some relevant and others not. Even the State PDP  that is General Airhiavbere party looked at the writ and withdrew from the case. In the Judgement, the Judge said that what the lawyer did was unforgivable. The question is did they set up General Airhavbere to fail right from the beginning? Was this a mafia thing? Were they just running the race? Is it not possible for a lawyer to amend his/her writ after a case has started in the court?

This is my response to Mr Akin on Edo Political Forum on gun ownership....@ Akin Etin- Ojehomon Sr my dream is to arm every Nigerian. According to Smith and Wesson an America gun manufacturers, which said in an advert in the early '50s, that God made man in his own image but that Smith and Wesson made them equal. The question now is that how do guns make men equal?

This is my response to a post on Edo Political Forum EPF by Jeff Ikhinmwin asking for support for the funding of the stem cell research at the University of Benin Teaching Hospital in Benin City ......  @ Jeff Ikhimwwin the stem cell program is a great project which everyone should be proud of. We should show concern, however there are questions that we need to ask those incharge at UBTH. They should tell us how much has the Federal government invested in this stem cell project? How many patients have benefited from all that money the FGN pumped into it?
Many people in the polity are already saying it is a scam when considering the huge investment and the return on investment. We should ask questions and not allow our emotions to lead us into an obviously inefficient program.
