 Lagos State governor said that Lagosians spends an average of One Billion Naira every weekend that is about $6.26 m USD for owanbe. I guess it is putting a whole lot of food on others table. Therefore we should look for a better way to refine it. I notice that most husbands and wives in Nigeria do not have time for leisure so the only time they let off steam is during owambes and they take it seriously. In Benin it is referred to as obito. Abi una non want make our people enjoy life?

My response to the Nigeria Governors Forum elections... This is purely politics. Do not let them FOOL you. The mandate from the Oga @ the top was to remove Amenchi. But the foot soldiers wanted to support their own, so they voted for Amwnchi but only to come out and to please the Oga @ the top "we tried, we voted your lacky Jang but Amenchi played a funny game on us.

I remember when my friend PETER AGIDIGBI son of the owner of the well known AGIDIGBI Sawmills had just won the election to the State Assembly. I had just returned to bury my mother. Peter had built a very nice grocery store along James Watt I believe and had sold it to fund his campaign. I believe he lost everything when Buhari took over.
This is the question: Peter gambled everything he owned to indulge in Corruption. He was a growing businessman, invested his inheritance well but gambled it on stealing money from the Government Coffers.
Should I feel sorry for Peter?.

This is my response to the above post...

The Bible tells us that we are permitted to fall in the struggle of life 7 times. Peter was briefly with us at Edo Boys High School in 1972. He wanted to serve his people, he asked and got their votes.  He made his mistakes in Life, in business and in politics. However, I do not see that as the end of the struggle for him.  All he need do is to pick up the pieces and march towards the Prize.His eye should be on the price at all times A legend once said it is not the number of time you fail or fall but it is the number of times you try getting up that counts.

The problem we are having right now in Nigeria is stem from the Libya revolt. All those ammunition they are using now to terrorize Nigerian were those people stole from the Libya armory at the time of the Libya revolt. If our government had anticipated this challenges, they would have closed down our borders then. Now those RMPG are already in Nigeria and will are paying dearly for it.

The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan this even 14/05/13 declared a state of emergency in Borno, Yobe and Adamawa State of the Country. The President came out in his speech like a man with guns in his hands shooting. He presentation was very force. I am so proud of this man.

Still on the Esama dialogue on Edo Political Forum...  I laugh well well @ this time in the history of Nigeria the lowest paid staff on Esama's payroll is approximately N42,000.00 for his gate men. Esama that has gladly brought (trapped for 4 years) 15,000 students who comes to school a term with a minimum of N50,000 to be spent in Okada.That is N750m into the local okada economy. Even a car wash boy in okada town will not go home with N8000 a month.

Still on the Esama of Benin Kingdom..... If you go close to the Esama you will understand why he is very rich and I think we the younger generation should copy from him. In his house in Benin the Esama has an office set up professionally with GM, Team of Lawyers, Publicity Dept, Security even a human resources dept. All these positions are manned by professional in their various fields and are paid monthly. I heard two just retired. My point is that even at home the man is set up professionally to succeed in business. Esama has offices at home, Glass House, Okada, Lagos, Abuja, and London. All are maned professionally. The question now is how many of his detractors can even employ a driver consistently for 24 months?
