The Governor's strategy of contracting roads construction to those mama put construction companies was not very effective.. He should have started an Edo State Road Construction Company, buy the equipment's and hire the labourers and professionals to construct our roads. The first company that started Airport Road used the State mobilization money to buy their equipment. That was how James Ibori was able to construct several roads in Delta State. In fact Ibori bought over Niger Cat Construction Company and put them to work. I also notice that one of our brother, Ray Royal Construction Company, is advertising everyday on our radios and television show casing his numerous new equipment and yet the State governor has not deem it fit to patronize this outfit. These are people we know their antecedents and we can hold them responsible if they messes up. The government can go into a 1000 km two lane with drainage package agreement with Ray Royal say for NX Billion Naira and a payment model is worked out.
Nigeria up coming National Conference
This is just an advice for those that think the north will not survive without the oil from the south. If oil can be found in the desert of Saudi Arabia, Iraq and Iran, Niger and Chad Republic, be rest assured that that there is oil in northern Nigeria and that when push come to shove they will find the oil to sustain their economy. The south gets their meat/protein and other food stuff from the north. So we should not be talking about separation but TRUE Federalism and how to make our judiciary work for the common good of all.

On Sahara Reporters allegation that GEJ went to New York with 600 delegate... For crying out loud, he is the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and as such he deserves the best. There are other more expensive hotels in the New York area. I wonder what it will cost to get a Presidential suite in Wuldeoff Astoria Hotel in New York at this time probably $50,000.00 a night. I see the President as a salesman selling his country to the world. The President and his team are HUSTLING to bring investment to Nigeria as the world is meeting. So the 600 man delegate representing nearly 200 million people and thousands of industries in Nigeria is not bad one.
On the recent killings up North by Bkok Haram... One thing is clear these people are using the ammo they stole and are been supplied by mercenaries dealing in Libyan ammo. Nigeria missed it at the very beginning when the Libyan crisis was in its foundation. That was the time we would have sealed off our borders, mount serious checks to control the importation of arms. Now it is too late, they have armed themselves. The Military should declare a full scale war on them. Drones, satellite imagery and all should be used in tracking them down.

Kidnappins in Benin City and the way forward.
@ All I am in Lagos on a business trip. This afternoon I meant with some highly placed Edo Citizens and in the cource of our discussions, they raised the issue of kidnappings in Benin City. One major observation raised was that most of these kidnappers were from neighbouring states. They come to our state to harass our people then chart away monies meant to improve the life our our people. They said that one of the major reasons kidnappings are not common in Lagos was because of the presences of Odua People Congress in every community, OPC. They ask if we have or can form an organisation that will mirror the OPC to stamp out these menace. What do you think?
