Breaking News: Prof. Mahmood Yakubu appointed new INEC boss
Professor Mahmood Yakubu has been appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari as the new chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
His appointment was today approved at the National Council of States' meeting held today in Abuja presided over by Nigeria's strongman, President Muhammadu Buhari.
Yakubu is a professor of political history and international studies.
