Today we had the opportunity to meet six out of the seven governorship candidates for the July 14th 2012 elections. The debate was unique and it shows Edo State brazing the trail in democratic development. I want to congratulate the organisers of the debate the NEDG, the candidates for showing up and for helping to advance democracy. The candidates showcase what the people of Edo State are made up of. I have read some post here evaluating the performance of the participants, that is great but we should look at what they have achieved today. First the electorate are now better informed. I have received calls from as far away as Russia commending the debates. As Edo people we are standing tall among are other federating states. While others are grappling with terrorist attack we are busying showing fort those things that made us great before our nation was compromised in 1897. Edo is truly a first nation. Again I congratulate the people of Edo State whose votes will really mater on the 14th of July 2012.

He will reduce the school fees in all the state owned tertiary institution. He will also introduce Students Loans and bursary. He will use agriculture to tackle the issue of unemployment. The current tax burden in the state will be completely lightninged. He will concentrate on the construction and linking of all rural villages with good motorable road that will be asphalted.
