My response to Ojealaro Friday who thieves broke into his house and stole valuables .

I thank God for your life. There is an advert by Smith and Wesson a popular american gun manufacturer, It says "God created man in His own image that Smith and Wesson made them equal" My point is that an Uzi or an Ak- 47 or some other automatic in your hand would have redefined the relationship. Just pray thou, because studies have shown that with the ease they accessed your house they might be tempted to come back again. So my advice is to be prepared and protect your household.

@ Husman Yakub how you dey? yes individuals can own guns in Nigeria. but they will need the police to license the gun for them. You are also required to renew your license yearly. However, the license is for single and double barrel guns. The question then is why will anyone want to risk the life of his family with the half measure laws of Nigeria? I provide my water, my electricity 90% of the time and why not my security?

The main issue here is about gun ownership in Nigeria. Most thugs, area boys, thieves, armed robbers and cultist in Nigeria all have guns. We the 99% moral majority are living at their mercy. Just like the GSM, I thing if gun ownership is liberalised it will reduce crime and bravado in Nigeria. If you know that I am wired up or if you know I have the ability to check mate your aggression you go maintain.

Eid Mubarak to all my peace loving Muslim Brothers and Sisters. I am glad that your Holy Day is devoid of boko haram bombings or any other terrorist attack. We as Christians will also like to enjoy such peace whenever we are celebrating. Just remember that NO ONE person has monopoly on violence. A firend of my once said that he does not need anyone to teach him how to be a bad person that that ability is in born. Again Eid Mubarak
