My response to Comrade Enabulele Enabulele on Edo Political Forum on Facebook about the increase in roberry and kidnapping in Benin City. @ Comrade Enabulele Enabulele f Benin City is a natural tourist centre by way of its location. As a City that people  must traverse to reach and is close to other states capital and business centres, it is natural for people to want to stay a night and it is it is good business for investors to  provide accommodations. The hotels in Benin are driving by demand and supply. If you stay in one you will are required to fill out a form which is lodged with the Security people. The hotels in Benin have nothing to do with the rates of robbery and kidnapping. I will advice the state to provide toll free numbers and encourage people to call and just give information. In California there is a toll free number 800- 4- RUMORS that is the number you call to confirm a story making rounds and of course the almighty 911.

Christmas is here and like always in Benin City it is the beginning of crime season. A few days back kidnappers struck again in Benin City and they kidnap Mr. Dan Odiette, a chartered surveyor and the Managing Director of Dan Odiette Estate Surveyors, a Benin City based survey company. The kidnapping claimed the life of a mobile policeman and a three years old girl that was struck by a strail bullet. We hope that the police will be able to meet up the security demands of the times.

It is time to take drastic action;
The boko battle line is now drawn. We cannot now leave Jonathan to his weakness fate at the expense of the whole country. The northern Muslims and their northern PDP through their insiders in the various forces and boko are not stopping at nothing. Their current invasion of Abuja is just the beginning of what to come to completely paralise Abuja. This would engender the FG temporary relocation to Lagos as the capital of the country. I doubt if Jonathan has seen the writing on the wall.
Without insiders in the Police, SSS and military help, the boko would not be able to be doing these penetrations, bombing of Churches, Prisons, Police Stations, strategic buildings and assassinations. From current incidents, they know what to do in Abuja but simply waiting for the right time. Now Jonathan needs to do serious re-organisation no matter whom it may hurt.
The current Police central command through one IGP should be suspended. A temporary five Independent Police Commands should be created. These Commands should be Abuja
FCT; the North West; the North East; Middle Belt (North Central zone) and the South (SW, SS & SE zones). Each head of the Commands would be responsible directly to the President. A new NSA from the South should be appointed.
An Igbo military man should be the commander of Abuja Command. A Middle Belt military person of Christian stock should be the commander of North Central zone Command. A trusted northern military man of any religious denomination or a non believer should be the commander of the North West Command. A trusted northern military man of any religious denomination or a non believer should be the commander of the North East Command. A strong Yoruba military man should be the commander of the big South Command. In addition to normal policing, the main duty of the South Command would be to stop armed robbery and kidnapping.
The Police and SSS in these five Commands will be under the command of their military Commanders. The rest of the military would continue under their present and normal command arrangement.
We cannot sit by with the right people and material resources in the country and allow the northern Muslims and their PDP through insiders in the various forces and boko to destroying Jonathan’s regime and thereby the country. What they throw in their leadership and political anger against Jonathan through boko is thrown at the whole country. It has come to the time we in general of the country that are outside the northern Muslims and northern PDP to put our political, etc divide aside and join together to rescue the country from the northern Muslims and Northern PDP. After this the PDP and their corruption will be rooted out.

Yesterday the 26th of November 2012 in Auchi a Polytechnic town in the Northern Senatorial District of Edo State Nigeria, a gang of armed robbers invade the town at around 7 pm, robbed three banks and killed 12 people. They used bombs to blow up the bank buildings.
What happened at Auchi yesterday was a professional hit. First, you will agree with me that the whole robbery thing was way above the low level armed robbers operation we see in this clime. The boldness in execution, the destruction left behind and the targets points to one thing only, that the perpetrators were after cash, huge cash to further their evil ways. If it were to be during the military era one would have suggested that these were the handiwork of coup plotters. Who when planning evil and needs cash to execute such evil. But we are in a civil rule so this evil points to those with hiding agenda that is bad for our country.
 It is wrong for anybody or group no matter how well trained and armed they are to hold a whole town like Auchi to ransom. Imagine all those people running for safety and the armed bad boys thinking they are all powerful.  But if the people in Auchi had access to own and carry guns and to protect themselves what would have happened?. Let us imagine that in the whole of Auchi there are about 500,000 people with guns will these crooks get away with this evil?
Let us no kid ourselves any longer gun ownership and legalization is the answer to Nigeria insecurity.
Some people will argue that Nigerians are not matured enough to own guns. Just like they said they were not rich enough to own mobile phones. But the reality today is that all the bad boys and girls in Nigeria owns a gun. They are the tugs, thieves and robbers that terrorise the law abiding majority.
I am proposing that all who are above 30 years old should be allowed to own guns. However, before license are granted anyone who applies should undergo a 90 days intensive training on how to handle guns, the implication of wrong use, police training etc.
