I ask if Nigeria has a political challenge what will some of our African neighbours do? Will they be there for us as we have been for them? A case in point is that of South Africa, during their turbulent past of apartheid rein Nigeria fought with all her resources for the African majority to rule. We hosted millions of South Africans in Nigeria and gave them education on scholarships. When we were in school back in the days those South Africans who were staying Benin City and attending various secondary schools  and Univeristy of Benin were living like lords. Even Thambo Mbeki was in Suru-Lere Lagos during thse turbulent times. I ask again what have we benefited Zeno-phobia abi? Now the have shot themselves on the foot. They have relapsed back into their apartheid days. How can anyone in their right senses turn a gun that is loaded with live bullets not plastics bullets on a protesting citizen? I pity those Nigerians there with them. If they can do this to their own what do you expect from their law enforcement agencies?
