The Friends of Edo People instituted a law suit at the Federal High Court in Benin City against the Edo State Governor, The Edo State Commissioner of Police, The State Director of Department of State Services (SSS) The Civil Defense Force and the Attorney General of Edo State. For placing a BAN on OKADA and for the gross violation of the Fundamental Human Rights of Edo People. The court has fixed July 8th 2013 for hearing.
